Description

Static content are pages or sections of a page that are system defined. The following static content exists:

  • The page header;
  • The page footer;
  • The homepage for logged users;
  • The homepage for guests;
  • The help pages for admins;
  • The help pages for users;
  • Mobile login header;
  • Mobile login footer;
  • Mobile help;

Business rules

The static content is defined on the the parent configuration and inherited by the child configurations. It is however possible to customize the static content item on child level.

Fields Type Rules
Interface Text (read only) Shows the interface / channel the static pages is used: Mainweb or Mobile.
Name Text Name of the static page.

Fields Type Rules
Customize Boolean When selected the (inhereted) content page can be customized. The content page will be displayed in a richtext editor.
  • Make sure you click the save button after editing.
Definition Single selection Help files are built-in in the system but can be customized. Once customized it is possible to revert to the original built-in page by selecting the 'original file' option or use the help page from the parent configuration by selecting 'Inherit from higher'.
  • Options:
    • Inherit option from higher;
    • Customize;
    • Original file;
  • Only visible for help files.
  • Be aware that new version of Cyclos might have improved help files. These new help files will only be available when the help file is not customized. It is always possible to go to the latest help file by selecting the original option.
Apply theme border and background to footer Boolean When this option is checked the border and background of the general layout (defined in themes) will apply the footer and background automatically.
  • Only visible for Mainweb - footer.
Title Text The title of the page that will show above the page.
  • Only visible for content pages.
Content Rich text The content that can be customized using the rich text editor.
